'Christmas Dreams' Initiative
This year, the Petrotec Group joined Fraterna's "Christmas Dreams" initiative. This initiative was launched 5 years ago and it has helped 2030 friends and nearly 280 children and youths that, otherwise, would not have received any Christmas presents.
"Christmas Dreams" is a social intervention project, promoted by Fraterna and funded by the Escolhas Programme, which covers various social housing areas in the municipality of Guimarães. Its mission is to promote the full social inclusion of children and youths from some of the most vulnerable socioeconomic backgrounds.
In 2016, this initiative aims at reaching out to 183 children and youths by sponsoring their Christmas dreams. The goal is to become these children's Father Christmas and make their wishes come true.
